I'm Not Allowed On The Furniture

Hi Bloggie Friends, Lucy here...

Well I should say that I'm not allowed on most of the furniture...Mom lets me snooze on the old couch in the den and the foot of her bed at night, although I tend to hog more than that!

In a few days, my human brother is coming for a visit and he sleeps on the couch in the den (it pulls out into a bed). I'm really looking forward to his visit but it may cut into my nap time.

Of course there's always my big comfy doggie bed, but somehow, it's never as comfy as Mom's stuff.

Are you allowed on the furniture? Do you sneak a seat when nobody's looking?

Oh, by the way...I heard Mom say that the groomer lady is on vacation...YEAH! I'm safe for a little while longer!

Snow Doodle

Hi Bloggie Friends, Lucy here...

Well I still don't know when I am suppose visit the groomer,
but I don't want to ask Mom 'cause maybe she forgot!
In the mean time I have been having fun in the snow
except today it rained and rained and some
of the snow washed away. Mom said not to worry,
we'll be getting some more pretty soon,
she even called me a Snow Doodle!

Does it snow where you live and do you like to play in it?

Woe Is Me!

Hi Bloggie Friends, Lucy here...

I overheard Mom talking to her friend, the doggie groomer.
Mom told her that I needed to be trimmed and my nails cut.
I didn't hear when this was going to happen...

NEVER would be fine with me!
I really like the lady that grooms me but I don't

like the weapons tools she uses.
Clippers and snippers and blowy thingies!

Mom says it's the price I have to pay for being bee-U-ti-full!
She's so silly!

Snow Fun!

I am so happy that Mom let my fur grow out,
even if it is a bit of a mess.
It's been very cold here but I love to play in the snow!
Sometimes I snowplow with my snooter, brrr!

I wish I knew how to make a snow angel!

A Late Start

I'm a little late but HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all!
Mom has been a bit extremely slow in helping
me with my blog! I think she needs to make a resolution
to get with the program!

Well not only did I fall asleep waiting for Santa
but I did the same waiting for that darn ball to drop!
Mom and Molly stayed awake to welcome 2010,
while Dad, Lilly and I snoozed our way into the New Year!

It's hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone.
I hope Santa was good to all of you!
I tried my hardest to stay awake on Christmas Eve
in hopes of seeing Mr. Claus but after a nice dinner
and a little Christmas music
I just couldn't keep my eyes open!

Getting Ready For Santa

Hi Bloggie Friends! Lucy here...
Well it happened again! I had made a New Year's resolution
never to let Mom put those stupid antlers on me again...
and guess what? Yep, she did it again!
She sweet talked me...telling me that I was
bootiful and soooo photogenic!
I really didn't mind it too much but don't tell her, okay?

Molly was caught rocking out with the Jingle Cats! She claims that

she was getting in the Christmas Spirit!

Meanwhile, Lilly had visions of sugar plums catnip dancing in her head.

Ho...Ho...Ho!

Hi Bloggie Friends, Lucy here...

Guess who I saw this weekend...yep...the Man himself...Santa! A local veterinary hospital sponsored Santa pictures with the proceeds going to the Animal Cancer Foundation. It was lots of fun, and there were a lot of doggies there and even cats!

I was very excited when it was my turn, so Santa decided to sit on the floor with me...and that's when I decided I'd like to try out Santa's chair. I don't think he minded too much!

You may wonder what is going on in these pictures,

well let me tell you...

It was a nice sunny morning, Mom was up early working on

her other bloggie, and I decided to sleep in...

Mom caught me snoozing on her bed and I sorta refused to move...

so she had the nerve to wrap me up like a burrito...

can you imagine that?

Actually it was quite snuggy and then I really didn't want to get up...

Hey, Ma! Could I at least get a belly rub before I get down?

I Love Lucy

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I have to say
how thankful we are for our dog Lucy. She's a wonderful companion
and a loyal friend. Lucy gives us so much joy
and never asks for anything in return.
