Lucy is being lazy in the sun, so today is Molly's turn to be in the 'spotlight'. We adopted Molly from our local Animal Rescue League when she was about 10 months old, she is now around 7 years. Even though she has Lilly, her adopted feline sister, Molly relates more to Lucy and actually acts more like a dog than a cat. She has learned some tricks, responds very well to whistles and follows me around like a puppy. Oh, not to forget that she loves to snuggle at night...great fun when it's about 80 degrees! The first picture was taken a couple of days after she became part of our family. She was nothing but skin and bones, and we used to say that she could fit inside the cardboard tube in the paper towel.
Well, not anymore! Molly is not a big eater and she has tons of energy but as you can see in the following picture, she certainly has lost her girlish figure! She's healthy and happy...but maybe a candidate for Jenny Craig!
More to come...

What a beauty!
Um, I mean - she looks tasty! Yeah - I don't like cats!!!
Thanks for visiting me today - I just added a poll on my blog that was inspired by your comments! If you have time, come vote!
This cat is absolutely cute. I like her spotted fur. Lovely.
Unusual coloured cat and sorry but that fur does make look fat. She is cute though.
Very beauteeeful kittykat! and *giggles* at the "does this fur make me look fat?" LOL!
OMGoodness!!! Molly has gained some weight, hasn't she? I'm concerned about my Shadow - she was a thin stray when we adopted her, but she has put on several pounds in the months that we've had her inside. She's now round. Maybe pleasantly plump is a nice way to put it. But what will she be in a few years? Guess we'll find out! I wish I knew how to keep the cats from eating so much dry food!!
