It's not news that Lucy loves to go for a ride, especially in her Dad's truck. It's high up and she has a great view of the road. We recently took a drive along the Mohawk Trail and stopped briefly at Whitcomb Summit in Florida, Massachusetts.
The summit is home to the Elk Memorial.
Lucy wasn't quite sure what to make of the large bronze elk staring down at her. Surprisingly, she didn't bark!I will be featuring the Elk Memorial on a future posting at my
Barnyards and Barnacles blog.
More to come...

I didn't know there was as Florida, Mass. Lucy was really studying the big elk, guess it left her speechless.
Lucy,
You look so cute in your daddy's truck! Looks like you had a fun outing!

Looking forward to seeing more pictures!! Lucy is looking a bit confused about the elk!
Lucy is a great dog. She certainly knows how to pose for the camera.
I don't blame you about being confused. I've seen a couple of moving, non-bronze elk, and they confuse me, too.

Lucy is just adorable! She reminds me of our Cocker-retreiver with the way she poses herself.
Oh and how appropriate to hear Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds!
Hey beautiful four legged girl :) Woof :)
Hello Lucy! You look so cute in your Dad's truck! You can see lots more stuff, yeaaaa!
I always think Lucy is trying to say something... she's very intelligent. My dog would have barked non-stop at the elk.
I checked your profile from the Livorno photo blog and when I read goldendoodle I just had to come see. And it was worth it - she is soooooo gorgeous.
