Twisted Sister

Believe me when I tell you that our three 'girls' are spoiled. They are well taken care of and loved very much. I'm covering the cats' eyes as I write that dogs, however, are much better listeners, they are easier to train and love to please. Cats on the other hand, march to their own drummer!

As you can see, Lucy is sound asleep in her roomy, comfortable doggie bed...Molly was sleeping at the foot of our bed, and...

Lilly, the slightly 'wacky kitty' was zonked out on a small, hard lid of a plastic storage bin! Every night when we go to bed, she waits for me to put the lid on the bedroom floor and off she goes, happy as a clam! This is why we affectionately refer to her as 'Twisted Sister'.

More to come...

Too funny about Lilly!

They both look so cute sleeping in their respective beds.

I can't tell you how comforting it is to see twisted kitties...Any cat I have ever owned has marched to the beat of a different drummer!!

Thanks so much for sharing Sunny!!

Funny cat!
I had a cat ages ago. Anything new that came into the house-she was right on top of it.

I appreciate your visit and comment on my blog today about Fountain pens.

I am learning about cats. My youngest daughter had to move back home with us and besides our granddaughter, she brought a giant, black, male, cat named "Baby Kitty."

We have never had a cat in the house and have been married since 1955. So it is an adjustment. We have always had dogs and I prefer dogs. However, this cat, as different as he is, has made himself part of his new extended family, gramps and granny, and we all get along very well.

Every time I go outside I get him a leaf or two of catnip and now he waits for me to come in and is very disappointed if I for the catnip and I can't begin to tell you the number of times I have gone back outside and picked him some catnip.

And, finally, this cat loves to lay on slick magazines and also on this sticky rubber to keep things from slipping. We covered a short file cabinet with it and the cat will sleep on that several hours each day.
