The other morning I was sitting on the floor

sorting through some papers,

Lucy brought one of her favorite toys to show me.

All of a sudden she started to sneeze!...
Aaaa!

Choo!

Hope she's not allergic to me!

So Much For Gratitude!

Lucy is such a big part of our family, she is the 'daughter' we never had. She is my alarm clock in the morning, my smile on a gloomy day, my constant companion. We really go just about everywhere together, and she wouldn't have it any other way!

The other day, I had to run into the market to get some milk, I told her that she'd have to wait in the car and that I'd be right back...and this is what I got!

Like I said, "So much for gratitude!"

A Blur Of Fur!

This past weekend we took a drive north to see how the foliage was coming along, and as always I had my camera at the ready. I had taken several close up pictures of flowers, and then several pictures of Lucy having fun in the sunshine. Well I forgot to change my camera setting back and all of Lucy's pictures were a big blur.

I can't believe I was that dumb!

"It's okay Mom, you can take some more," says Lucy.

With the cooler days now that Autumn is around the corner, Lucy looks for sunbeams to nap in.

Twisted Sister

Believe me when I tell you that our three 'girls' are spoiled. They are well taken care of and loved very much. I'm covering the cats' eyes as I write that dogs, however, are much better listeners, they are easier to train and love to please. Cats on the other hand, march to their own drummer!

As you can see, Lucy is sound asleep in her roomy, comfortable doggie bed...Molly was sleeping at the foot of our bed, and...

Lilly, the slightly 'wacky kitty' was zonked out on a small, hard lid of a plastic storage bin! Every night when we go to bed, she waits for me to put the lid on the bedroom floor and off she goes, happy as a clam! This is why we affectionately refer to her as 'Twisted Sister'.

It was a very hectic weekend at our house, Mom and Dad were so busy I got tired just watching them!

4th Photo Tag

Hi there it's me Lucy again, my blogger friend Lucy the Cat over at Lucy's Cat Lounge tagged me for 4th Photo. What this means is my Mom had to go to the fourth file of where she keeps my pictures and select the fourth picture and then I am suppose to explain the picture and then pass this on to four more unsuspecting victims blogger friends.

Well as you can see this is not the best picture of me and the reason for that is my Mom was on the floor fooling around with her camera trying to get a picture of me. I, on the other hand thought it would be more fun to play! Mom was yelling for me to watch out for her camera but I just wanted to give her a big, wet 'Doodle' kiss. Eventually, I did win!

Mom says she likes to play by the rules but she has no idea who to tag and would be thrilled if anyone that would like to be part of '4th Photo' go right ahead and post. If you would like to mention that it was my wonderful idea and link back to me, that would be terrific. If not, I understand...I think...well, what do I know, I'm just a dog!
