Mom told her that I needed to be trimmed and my nails cut.

Well, you are quite beautiful, but my guess is you don't need a groomer to make you that way. I'm glad I can groom myself, but my beans insist on cutting my claws. Mama calls it a pedicure. I call it a horror.
I hope it's not too bad and that you get lots of treats after!

Well Lucy, The poodle side of you really does worry about it but the Lab side of you just doesn't care. Maybe you should lean onto your Lab background for strength. It will be over with before you know it. I know you look great no matter what but having good looks requires refinement.

That's the price you pay for being a dog. Us cats are pros at attending to our own personal hygiene needs. So your mom is right... you've got to do what you've got to do, all in the name of beauty.

Oh Lucy, I'm booked in tomorrow as well for a wash and cut! I absolutely hate it! Had my toenails clipped at the vets last week and I was not a happy camper!
