My youngest daughter had to move back home with us and besides our granddaughter, she brought a giant, black, male, cat named &quot;Baby Kitty.&quot; <br /><br />We have never had a cat in the house and have been married since 1955. So it is an adjustment. We have always had dogs and I prefer dogs. However, this cat, as different as he is, has made himself part of his new extended family, gramps and granny, and we all get along very well.<br /><br />Every time I go outside I get him a leaf or two of catnip and now he waits for me to come in and is very disappointed if I for the catnip and I can&#39;t begin to tell you the number of times I have gone back outside and picked him some catnip.<br /><br />And, finally, this cat loves to lay on slick magazines and also on this sticky rubber to keep things from slipping.
